Riordan Mansion State Historic Park

The mansion constructed in 1904 by lumber giants Timothy and Michael Riordan is unique in that two sides of the 40-room home are mirror images of one another ensuring the two families to live in equal-sized living quarters with a shared common space in between. Visitors take guided tours of the mansion to enjoy the surrounding areas that has picnic facilities. Located on a five-acre park the site showcases the extraordinary mansion that includes all of the original furnishings and décor. Self-guided walking tours outside the house show you the historic building to advantage. It is a remarkable example of Arts and Crafts style architecture featuring a rustic exterior of log-slab siding, volcanic stone arches and hand-split wooden shingles. The expansive home with over 13,000 square-feet of living area has you stepping back in time to experience it all.
