Boyd Lake State Park Beach

Boyd Lake State Park is a year round water sports recreation center that attracts visitors keen on enjoying boating, water-skiing, swimming, fishing, windsurfing, sailing, and waterfowl hunting. You could simply bike, run, or walk along the water's edge under shady cottonwood trees on the well laid trail.

The modern water sports facility here plies over 1,700 surface-acres of water for boating, fishing, sailing and more. Additionally the sandy beach and seasonal warm water makes it the favorite haunt of serious windsurfing and water-skiing enthusiasts. This family-oriented park is the perfect place for visitors of all ages.

Along with enjoying conventional day-out-in-summer fun, visitors will feel relaxed listening to the sound of the live music from the weekend live summer concert series. Theres coffee and comforting snacks too. Wave Buster's Coffee Shop located at the Swim Beach Plaza is a happy fixture.

Boyd Lake offers 148 paved pull-through campsites with electricity hook ups. The sites are located by the lake on a grassy knoll full of trees. The easily accessible sites can accommodate tents, pick-up campers, trailers and motor homes. You just have to pay the camping fee besides the mandatory entrance fee to the state park. All sites have a picnic table and campfire ring. The campground also offers showers, laundry facilities and playgrounds.
