There are three boat ramps on the lake and a full-service marina. The marina provides boat, slip and wet and dry suit rentals along with camping and fishing accessories.

Swimming and jet skiing are quite popular. Since there are no lifeguards swimming is allowed in designated areas only. Pets on a leash and under control are welcome. Pets are not allowed in the water at the swim beach. As regards the weather summer days can typically have beautiful sunny mornings but be wary of sudden thunderstorms.
