New Haven

The Atwater Ciampolini House

Also known as the Charles Atwater House, the Atwater-Ciampolini House is one of the most popular landmarks of New Haven, conveniently located at 321 Whitney Avenue of the city at the southwest corner of intersection with Edwards Street. This is indeed a wonderful example of Shingle style architecture, designed by the New York City-based architects Babb, Cook and Willard and was built during 1890-92. The Atwater-Ciampolini House is two and a half stories tall with gable front, strip windows, and a shingled exterior that make it quite attractive.

Due to great historic significance, this wonderful property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989 and is now serving as one of the most popular historic landmarks of New Haven.
