Meeteer House

This historic landmark is the site where a paper mill was established by Thomas Meeteer in the late 18th century on the banks of the nearby White Clay Creek. Listed in the U.S. National Register of Historic Places, this building is a fine example of vernacular Federal style of construction which belonged to a wealthy and important owner in the historical past.
