The Bonnet House

Also known as the Bartlett Estate, the Bonnet House is a historic home, conveniently located at 900 Birch Road in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States. The Hugh Taylor Birch in 1895 found this property and gifted to his daughter Helen and her husband, artist Frederic Clay Bartlett on the occasion of their wedding in 1919 and so was named after the Bonnet Lily. Today, this historic house is serving as a museum to preserve, interpret and share the unique and eclectic historical legacy –architectural, artistic and environmental of the Bartlett and Birch families. It is an accredited museum by the American Association of Museums, and is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
