The sense of history is apparent even as you gaze up at this concrete, brick, ceramic tile, asphalt and terra cotta constructed Federal Building standing in Sandpoint on Second Avenue. Following the Italian Renaissance architectural style the building has also been known as East Bonner County Library. Built in 1928 the architectural styles include the late 19th and 20th century revival mission and Spanish revival architectural type of construction. The Historic functions performed in the building have included a post office and other government offices located in it. The site had been posted to the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.
