Boulder Beach Silverwood Park

Athol city in Northern Idaho, near to Farragut State Park on one hand and close to Lake Pend Orieille on the other hand, is home to the famous Silverwood Park. This 12-acre water theme park is the the largest of its kind in the Northwest. In the summers all roads lead to Boulder Beach located here.

Boulder Beach is part of the Silverwood Theme Park and is designed with the intention of making it a cool aquatic recreation spot. With slides, pools, and interactive play features along with two awesome wave pools – this is a wonderful place for families to have some good old fun.

Kids will just love the Toddler Springs and Polliwog Park. Add to this the 40-foot water slides for older kids and you have everybody in for a great time. Some of us may just be happy to enjoy the lazy river ride and be content with the float-up beverage bar.

The exciting water rides include the new family raft ride Avalanche Mountain, three speed slides on Velocity Peak and four serpentine tube slides called Rumble Falls. This water park that opened in 2003 operates from June until Labor Day. It is located minutes North of Coeur d'Alene on Highway 95. Its always a good idea to check the website for detailed operating schedules.

Located in beautiful North Idaho, Boulder Beach Water Park should be your destination this summer. All beach boys and girls can cool off here enjoying attractions like the 40-foot tube slides, lazy river, kid's treehouse or giant wave pools. Since one just wasn’t enough a second huge wave pool was recently added. This could just be the beach of your dreams.
