American Discovery Trail

Stretching from Lake Village in Northwest Indiana all the way to Mount Vernon in the south, the American Discovery Trail covers a large portion of Indiana. On the way in and out, it covers six Indiana State Parks and various other diverse attractions such as the Wyandotte Caves, the Hovey Lake State Fish and Wildlife Area and the classic Holiday World Amusement Park. This segment of the trail truly validates Indiana as an intriguing and entertaining vacation spot.

The non-motorized trail that stretches through North America coast to coast also gives visitors an idea of the wildlife and natural wonders that abound here. Through the Corn Belt and out via the Ohio River, this trail is as adaptable as it gets.
