West Beach

West Beach, a most popular sandy public beach near the Dunes National Lakeshore in Northwest Indiana, is located at the southern tip of Lake Michigan. You can find splash in the water, build a sandcastle, and stroll along the three miles of open beach. Seeing the scenic vistas of sweeping dunes and Lake Michigan, you will always love to admire and store the photographs.

Numerous seagulls are found here. You can spend a lot of time, feeding bread to these seagulls. This beach has provided a facility of grilling delicious meal at a picnic shelter, and then walk the marked trails that traverse dunes and forest.
