Kentucky Lake Beach

Kentucky lake is said to be the heart of West Kentucky Tourism. It is one of the world's largest man-made lakes, having 160,000 surface acres and 2,300 miles of shoreline.

The beach on the Kentucky Lake includes almost different fun water activities including fishing, boating, skiing, and also wildlife viewing. The beach front area has golfing, shopping, dining, antiques, crafts, hiking, biking, hunting, camping, and many area attractions.

The beach water consists of gentle lap of the waves, untouched eastern shoreline bursting into an array of fall colors, the magnificent sunrises and sunsets, and impressive stringers of slab crappie, catfish, blue gill, white bass, sauger, and bass.

The heat of summer brings water activities to an all time high. Drag boat races and open regattas are organized all round the year. Boating, skiing, swimming and personal water crafts are a great source of recreation and entertainment in the summer months.

Accommodations is very easily accessible around the lake. You can get a waterfront cabin nestled in the woods to motel/hotel rooms within minutes of the lake. Camping can also be done at all of the 14 campgrounds with the same diversification.

Attractions around the beach include water parks, miniature golf, go-carts, museums, shopping, skating, horseback riding and self tours of Kentucky Dam. For those who love natural beauty, the Land Between the Lakes offers best scenic views. It is along the eastern boundary of beautiful Kentucky Lake beach.
