Cape Cod National Seashore

About forty miles of open coastland, this National Seashore is a Massachusetts gem. Several beaches and a sparse amount else, the people who visit in the long summer days flock straight to the sand. There are also offshore water sports to partake in such as sailing and swimming, but much of the outdoor opportunities sadly go unnoticed. Hiking trails weave in and out of the dunes and surrounding forestry. Kettle ponds highlight the land directly off-beach, providing marsh-like environments and wildlife.

You can get around this waterlogged land by boat, canoe or kayak. The rest involves hiking the self-guiding paths. Come see where many famous Americans have come to escape the drudges of daily life.
