Moonshine Beach

Moonshine Beach is situated on the State Highway 165, on the north end of the Table Rock Dam on Table Rock Lake, in Branson, MO. This is a day use beach only, that is open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. during the recreation season. Open from May 1 through September 15, it is the only sand swim beach on Table Rock Lake. It is made of fine sand, and is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

There are various different activities, other than just hanging out at the beach such as fishing, hiking, golfing, boating, swimming and whitewater paddling. Amenities include a picnic shelter, playground, sand beach, volleyball, boat launch, restrooms and outdoor showers.

Along the coastline of the Moonshine Beach, one can find the Table Rock State Park, which is a good thing to do. In the vicinity of the Moonshine Beach, if you are looking for some flowing water, then try for Long Creek, that has good spots to explore along the Tap Kiln Trail. Not very far from Moonshine Beach, you can go to the Don Gardner Par 3 Golf Course, which is a tremendous golf course nearby. Buffalo National River is a great national park, and since you're here you can play some golf at Ledgestone Golf Course.
