Rockaway Beach

Rockaway Beach, Missouri, situated at the west of the Mississippi River, was founded in 1917. This is a small friendly lakeside town, located in the northern portion of the Ozark Mountains around 10 miles NE of Branson. It is also known as the 'Gateway to the Tri-Lakes Region' consisting of Tablerock, Taneycomo and Bull Scholls Lakes.

Rockaway Beach provides most of the things to its visitors. There is a large fishing dock, boat and canoe rentals, paddle boats, novelty shop, antique shop, tackle shop, restaurants, ice cream shop, gas station, video rentals, and numerous events throughout the year that are sponsored by the local residents and businesses.

Few of the popular events include the Fourth of July Celebration, Hydroplane Races and the Rods and Relics Classic Car Show. It has 44 acres of park land for your use too. This would be a best place for larger Family Reunions, Festivals or even Motor club Rallies. The beach is decorated with Restaurants, Marinas, Shops, and Lodging Facilities, providing you a feel of the Ozarks without thinking of your wallet.
