Jones Beach

No chance of becoming bored in New York if you enjoy the beach. There's so much amusing things to do near Jones Beach including boating, hiking, fishing, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so one won’t become bored. Few hotels close at hand, you'll have to voyage a bit to get to one, but you'd better book before heading out as these hotels fill up rapidly throughout the warm days of summer. For all you camping folks there are campgrounds in close proximity. Glorious shining water and the New York coast will make you feel great. This is such a pretty slice of shore. Ok, it's been too long since you went outside; Jones Beach in Essex County, New York is a magnificent location for getting out. A quick trip to Clear Pond Inlet next to Jones Beach is a glorious idea, and the Dix Trail offers hiking at its best. Taking a little tour to close by Duck Hole is a nice idea; whitewater paddling is glorious on Schroon River. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Elk Lake Marcy Trail, and you obtain a fine sight of Clear Pond Mountain from here. A trip to Loon Bay close to Jones Beach is always a good idea; if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on The Branch. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Jones Beach. Jones Beach is right by the Dividing Ridge Trail.
