Frost Fire Ski Area

Geologists classify Frost Fire Ski Area as being originally a part of the ocean that was covered with mile-thick ice a mile-thick that was later flooded by a lake covering what is today the city of Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada. The gradual recession of the lake left rich and fertile valleys that today provide expert North Dakota skiing. The gorgeous Pembina River Gorge forms backdrop for Frost Fire, one of the most beautiful areas in the state of North Dakota. Frost Fire offers double chair or a triple chair, a snowboarding park, and beginners’ slopes for inexperienced skiers of all ages.
