When to visit:
Rhode Island’s tourist-season hits its peak twice a year. In the summer season crowds throng the seaside for a little water sporting and hit the shops and sightseeing sites. The winters are equally popular, when the state takes on the status of genuine New England “Winter Wonder Land”. Off-season visitors will find cheaper rates and thinner crowds in the spring and, to a lesser extent, the autumn, though the fall foliage seekers may fill up some of the Bed & Breakfasts.
